Did anyone else find it chilling how close Carolyn's body was found to Maureen and Yvonne's? It's disturbing to think about what was going through their minds in those final moments. It makes you wonder if Carolyn knew about their disappearances and if that made her fearful or if she was completely unaware as she tried to make her way home. I've read that area of Highway 101 was known for hitchhiking back then, and I can understand how it would've seemed like the only option for a stranded teen. My heart goes out to the families—having these parallel tragedies must have been incredibly devastating for them. I'm really hoping that one day there will be justice for those poor girls. Does anyone have more information on this so-called "interview" the killer was reported to conduct with his victims? It’s such a strange and haunting detail.
