I can't stop thinking about the impact this case must have had on Priscilla's and Sarah's families, especially given the years of uncertainty they faced. I can only imagine the relief they must have felt when Hernandez was connected to their tragic murders, but at the same time, it must be incredibly frustrating that he was never formally charged in their specific cases. It really makes me wonder why sometimes the justice system doesn't pursue charges even when there's a confessed and known offender. The bureaucratic side of justice seems so cold compared to the emotional agony that these families endure. Does anyone know if Priscilla and Sarah’s families ever voiced their thoughts on why Hernandez wasn’t charged specifically for their murders? It's so important that these girls are remembered for more than just being victims of such heinous acts. Sending my thoughts to their families today. ?
