I’ve been thinking a lot about Gildardo Morales and how terrifying it must have been for his family and friends to see their loved one become a victim of such senseless violence. It’s haunting to think that he was just going about his day, and this monster decided to take that away. What really stands out to me is how random these attacks were. Imagine living in a community where you’re constantly on edge, knowing there was no rhyme or reason to who might be targeted next. It brings such a feeling of vulnerability and fear to everyday life. I hope his family found some solace in finally having an answer, and that they continue to find strength in their memories of him. My thoughts go out to all the families affected by this tragic string of events.
