I've been thinking a lot about Axel Sorenson's case, and there's one aspect that really sticks with me – the fact that he doesn't have a gravestone. It's incredibly sad to think of someone being laid to rest without a marker to honor their memory. This missing gravestone could mean a lot of things. Did his family not have the means to afford one, or was it simply an oversight due to the unusual circumstances of his passing? Or maybe there’s another layer of mystery, given the suspicious nature of his symptoms? For someone like Axel, who seems to have vanished into anonymity, it feels like adding another layer of erasure. I hope that someday, someone can place a marker there, not just for Axel, but for all the unnamed stories he may represent. It’s important we remember these forgotten souls. What do you all think – could this lack of a gravestone hint at something more, or is it just another unfortunate part of his story?

Did anyone else notice that Axel Sorenson doesn't have a gravestone at Forest Home Cemetery? It's strange considering most people, especially those with a life insurance payout, would have had a marker for their grave. I'm wondering if this was a personal choice or perhaps an oversight by whoever took care of his affairs after his passing. It's sad to think that he might have been forgotten without a proper tribute at his final resting place. It's important for us to remember and honor those who have passed, even if they lived over a century ago. If anyone has connections to Danish historical societies or genealogy groups, maybe they could shed some light on Axel's life in Denmark or help us understand why things were left the way they are.
