Has anyone else been following William Jingde Xu's case? I'm really curious whether any international treaties might be affecting the investigation efforts. It seems like cases like this, where a child might have been taken overseas, get bogged down in legal complexities between countries. I wish there was more information available on how often these kinds of cases find resolution. The whole thing feels like such a mystery. If anyone has insights into how these legal hurdles have been dealt with in other cases, that would be great to hear!
Anyone else following the case of William Jingde Xu? I came across a detail that's really been on my mind. It stands out how international cases seem to hit a wall - almost like they're playing in a completely different arena. I read that the authorities suspect his mom might have taken him to China. What happens with those kinds of leads? Is it just that much more difficult for the U.S. to get cooperation from foreign governments? I wonder if there are any agreements or policies in place to speed up the process. Also curious if anyone's noticed if these cases see a resolution more often now compared to the time when William went missing. Any insights or similar stories would be appreciated, it’s hard not to feel frustrated with the lack of progress in cases like this.
