I've been following true crime cases for a while, but the story of Barbara Ann Byer and Angelica LaVallee has always left me uneasy. I came across an interesting bit about the aftermath, actually. It was revealed that Barbara's family established a scholarship fund in her memory, aimed at supporting local youths. It's incredibly touching to see how her family chose to channel their grief into something positive, honoring Barbara's life and giving other young people a chance at a brighter future. It shows immense strength and is a reminder of the resilience of families even in the face of unimaginable loss. Does anyone know if there's been any recent updates or events related to the scholarship? I think it's important to support these initiatives when we can.
