I’ve been thinking a lot about Margaret J. Miller lately. I didn't know her personally, but from what I've read, she had a life that mattered, just like everyone else. It’s hard not to feel for her family and friends who had to go through years of uncertainty without answers. Sometimes, it feels like the justice system moves at a snail’s pace, but I’m glad that advancements in DNA helped bring Lorenzo Gilyard to justice, at least providing some answers. What gets to me is how many stories like Margaret’s remain unsolved. It's a stark reminder of how important it is to keep pushing for advances in forensic technology, so even more families can find some peace. And it’s crucial to keep talking about and remembering victims like Margaret, ensuring their stories aren’t lost or overlooked due to the circumstances they were in. Does anyone know if there's been any memorial or vigil for Margaret since her case got solved? I'd love to pay my respects.
