Hey all, I've been following the case of Rudolph Tyner, and one aspect that really struck me was the vulnerability of the prison system back in the early '80s. It's troubling to think how someone like Pee Wee Gaskins could exploit those vulnerabilities so easily. I mean, if you look at it, the fact that he managed to get his hands on an explosive device just goes to show how lax the security measures must have been! It’s scary to ponder how someone with a death sentence hanging over their head could still orchestrate such a complex and deadly plot behind bars. I can't imagine how Tyner's family must have felt—not only dealing with his crimes and conviction but then losing him in such a way. And then there's the family's of William and Myrtle Moon. The cycle of pain just kept going with Cimo getting involved. The ripple effects of these events must have been devastating for everyone involved. It's a stark reminder of how flawed systems can perpetuate cycles of violence, and it really makes you think about how far we've hopefully come in terms of prison security since then. Thoughts?
