Hi everyone,
I've been delving into the tragic circumstances surrounding Daniel Gedzius and his siblings and can't stop thinking about the role of the medical examiner at that time. It's frightening to consider how, back in the '70s and '80s, our understanding of SIDS wasn't as advanced as today. It raises so many questions about whether a lack of knowledge could have contributed to overlooking other potential causes for these children’s deaths. Could this have been a case of misdiagnosis due to the era's medical limitations, or was there something more intentional at play? It's hard not to feel for the family members who have lived with these unresolved questions for so many years. They deserve definitive answers and closure. What do you all think? Could better forensic practices have changed the outcome of these investigations?
Love to hear your thoughts.
