I've been diving into the details surrounding the tragic murder of Lena Tapper, and something that struck me was the involvement of the secret French order, the Macquereaux. Although we don't have much on how this group operated, it makes me wonder about the possible hidden dynamics at play during Lena's time in Denver.
Her connection to such a clandestine organization could have put her in dangerous situations outside of her work as a sex worker. Was the Macquereaux more than just a secret society, possibly involved in nefarious activities that might have contributed to her untimely death? It seems like an angle that hasn't been fully explored, especially since Richard Demady was released and then moved to Brazil—a move some might see as suspect.
Regardless of the murky details surrounding her life and connections, it's important to remember Lena as a person who deserved safety and justice, much like the other victims, Marie Contassot and Kiku Oyama. My heart goes out to the families who never got answers. What do you all think—is the Macquereaux connection just a red herring, or could it be a key piece of the puzzle?
I find the comparison to Jack the Ripper pretty uncanny, but there's something about Lena Tapper's case that really bothers me – the involvement of the secret French order, the Macquereaux. I mean, why hasn’t there been more focus on this group? Could they have played a larger role in Lena's death or those of Marie Contassot and Kiku Oyama? Given the secrecy surrounding these types of organizations, it makes me wonder if they might have had a reason to silence their members.
It's absolutely chilling to think of Lena's life cut short like that, especially considering how far she came from Fulda, Minnesota, only to be tangled in such a dangerous situation. My heart really goes out to her loved ones. I can’t even imagine what they went through, or what it must’ve been like for women in the area during that time, constantly living in fear. It's a dark piece of Denver’s history, overshadowed by too many unanswered questions. Does anyone else think the Macquereaux deserves a deeper dive?
