I came across something puzzling in Shawny Smith's case. I was looking at the location where they found her, and it got me thinking about how isolated it is. Weld County, especially the farmland areas, isn’t exactly where you'd expect someone to dispose of a body unless they knew the area well. Do you all think the killer might've been familiar with that spot, or was it just random? It feels like driving out there would require a purpose, especially in the middle of winter. Maybe someone local or a trucker passing through? My heart goes out to her loved ones; this must be an incredibly difficult mystery to live with. Would love to hear your thoughts.
