Has anyone else been following the Rapid City cases from the late '90s and early 2000s? I've been digging into the details, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the role of Rapid Creek in all of this. Four of the men, including George Hatton, were found face down in the creek. I can't shake off the feeling that this location is more than just a coincidence. It's been over two decades, and I still find myself wondering why those deaths weren't looked into more thoroughly. Especially considering how vulnerable the victims were as members of the homeless community. Could there have been someone targeting these men along the creek, knowing they were less likely to be missed? I'm heartened to see families and community members continuing to seek answers, but it's frustrating to see so many questions left unresolved. I hope that by keeping conversations like this going, we can prevent history from repeating itself. To all the families affected, I can't imagine how difficult and painful this must be. Please know that there are people out there who care and genuinely want to see justice served.
