Has anyone looked into the bus route Theodore used to drive when he worked for the Chicago Transit Authority? Knowing that he might have become disoriented, it seems plausible that he might have gravitated towards something familiar to him from his days as a bus driver. Even though he disappeared from Hopkins Park, maybe he thought he was heading back to one of those routes. I wonder if anyone has cross-referenced any local bus stops or transportation hubs in the area or en route to Chicago, especially given his past occupation. It feels like a long shot, but sometimes familiar routines can draw people in when they’re confused. Would love to hear if anyone has considered this angle in the search efforts!

I was reading through some older cases and came across Theodore McIntyre's disappearance. Just thinking about the fact he was a former Chicago bus driver made me wonder if maybe someone in the public transit community might have seen or recognized him back then. I know bus drivers often have a keen eye for their surroundings—perhaps one of them spotted Theodore and didn't realize who he was. Given how close-knit some city workers are, does anyone know if they shared info with colleagues or other transit systems when he went missing? Maybe there’s still a chance someone might have some forgotten piece of info that could help. It's been so long, but sometimes just revisiting small details can spark something new.

Honestly, I've been thinking a lot about how the landscape around Hopkins Park might have played a role in Mr. McIntyre's disappearance. Having been in the area myself, I can attest to how rural and wooded parts of it can be. It seems plausible that someone like Theodore, who may have been confused due to his Alzheimer's, could easily wander off the beaten path and become disoriented. Those woods and open fields are vast, and I wonder if search efforts considered the possibility that he might have found some shelter or hidden away, possibly meaning to rest if he thought he was headed in the direction of Chicago. I’m curious if there were any abandoned structures or shelters searched in the immediate aftermath, or if volunteers could organize a focused search in that respect now. Even with the land and aerial searches, areas like this can conceal so well. My heart goes out to his family; not knowing must be unimaginable, and it seems like so many facets of his everyday life could have contributed to him getting lost that day. Has there been any mention of setting up special searches or any new volunteer efforts recently?
