I recently came across Tia Hicks' case, and it's been on my mind a lot. What really stood out to me is the lack of justice for her sons. They must have grown up with so many questions and so much pain, not knowing what truly happened to their mom. I hope they're getting support from those around them because dealing with such trauma is never easy.
The case being reopened in 2013 gave her family some hope, but it's frustrating to see how hard it is to move forward without solid leads. The connection with Scott William Cox is chilling, especially considering his prior crimes. Even though they couldn't bring charges against him in Tia's case, it makes me wonder if there were other hidden connections that might bring clarity someday.
It just goes to show how important it is for cases like these to stay open and for people to keep talking about them. Sometimes the smallest detail can make all the difference in getting the answers everyone has been waiting for. Sending strength to Tia's family and, of course, her sons. They deserve to know the truth.
Has anyone looked into the connection between the Travelers Lodge and other similar cases in the area around that time? It seems like Tia's last known whereabouts might hold crucial details that could have been overlooked. Her staying at that motel so close to where she was found is really hard to ignore. It's upsetting to think about how many people she might have crossed paths with during those last days who could potentially know something.
I’ve read about other cases where similar locations became hotspots for criminal activity, and I can't help but wonder if others in the area at the time might have noticed anything unusual or if there were any unexplained incidents around the lodge. Knowing that her family still doesn't have closure is deeply saddening. They deserve answers and peace, especially for Tia’s young boys who were left without their mom. I truly hope someone who remembers even the smallest detail will step forward to help take the case forward. Just putting thoughts out there.
