I recently stumbled upon details about the Nancy Vogel case, and something that struck me was how the scene in the car was arranged. The fact that Nancy's clothes were neatly folded beneath her on the backseat almost feels like an eerie, deliberate act. It's chilling to think that her murderer, Richard Cottingham, might have taken the time to arrange her belongings like that after committing such a horrific crime. Was this a signature move, or perhaps an attempt to throw off investigators back in the day? It's scary to consider what might have been going through his mind at that moment. My heart goes out to Nancy's family. I can't even begin to fathom the pain of losing her in such a brutal way and having to wait decades for answers.
