Has anyone looked into the security measures or lack thereof at the complex where Mary Brooks lived? It's deeply unsettling to think that someone could step into these places pretending to be a medical professional or maintenance worker, leaving so many vulnerable residents at risk. I wonder if there were cameras in the building or if residents had any guidelines about verifying the identities of visitors. It's devastating to think about how a little more vigilance could potentially have prevented this tragedy. The way we care for and protect our elderly needs urgent attention, so they can live out their days in peace and safety. My heart goes out to Mary’s family and to all those who have lost loved ones to such horrible acts.
