Has anyone else been following the way GPS monitoring was handled in Martha Anaya's case? It's just disturbing to think that these men were supposedly being tracked but still managed to carry out such horrific acts. With both Cano and Gordon wearing these devices, it makes me wonder about the oversight (or lack thereof) in place. How could there have been such a failure to connect dots when the technology was right there? Even after their tragic actions, it seemed like the system was slow to adapt or realize what had gone wrong. My heart goes out to Martha's family and the families of the other victims who have to live with this added layer of injustice. It just feels like we need more proactive measures to ensure these monitored individuals aren't slipping through the cracks. What does everyone else think? Should GPS monitoring be reevaluated to prevent future tragedies like this one?
