Hey everyone, I've been reading through some of the old threads about the tragic incident involving Willie S. Daniels in that Kentucky prison back in '77. One thing that keeps nagging me is the environment inside the prison gym that day. It seems like a place that's supposed to be for rehabilitation and a bit of reprieve, but it turned deadly for Willie. Does anyone have insights on how gym areas were monitored at the time or how security measures might have differed in those days compared to now? It seems like there must have been some serious oversight or gap in security for an attack like this to happen. Thoughts on what might have led to such a brutal encounter in what should have been a safer area? My heart goes out to Willie's family. I can only imagine the pain they've carried without all the pieces of the puzzle coming together. Eager to hear your thoughts.
