I've been following the Hillside Strangler case for years, and Kimberley Martin's story is one that sticks with me the most. I can't get over how she was lured to that empty apartment, thinking it was just another call for work. It makes me wonder if that outcall service she worked for ever changed their protocols after this to protect the women more. It's terrifying to think how these dangerous situations can arise so unexpectedly. My heart goes out to Kimberley's family and friends who have had to endure this pain for decades. It's crucial that we continue to remember her and all the victims, so we can work towards ensuring safer environments for everyone. Does anyone know if there were any significant changes in safety measures for sex workers in LA after these cases?
