Has anyone else read about how Jane King was an aspiring actress? It's such a shocking and sad detail. I keep thinking about her dreams and the life she was building in LA, which got taken away so brutally. It’s hard to imagine the horror she endured. She was out there trying to make a name for herself and instead became known as a victim in this awful case. I hope her family and loved ones have found some peace over the years. It must be incredibly difficult to have her memory tied to such a tragic event rather than the vibrant person she was.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Jane King’s case and how she was such a rising star in her acting career before her life was cruelly cut short. It’s just so devastating to imagine someone with so much potential being taken like that. What really sticks with me is how this happened at a time when safety concerns, especially for women, were not as highlighted as they are today. I wonder if things like self-defense classes or more awareness back then might have changed something for some of the victims. It makes me reflect on the progress we've made in public safety and women's rights since then, but also how much more we need to do to ensure everyone feels safe. My thoughts are with Jane’s loved ones, who must have wondered what more they could have done or what changes should have been made back then. It’s reminders like this case that push us to keep advocating for better safety measures.

Did anyone else come across Jane's photo from that audition she went to just a few days before her disappearance? It's incredibly haunting to see her so full of life and passion in those pictures, knowing the unimaginable fate that awaited her. It’s difficult to wrap my head around how someone exploring their dreams could cross paths with such evil. I often wonder what might have happened if the timing had been different. It’s a chilling thought. Can't help but feel for her family and friends, who must miss her terribly. The courage they’ve shown in dealing with this horror for decades is something I deeply admire. How do they keep moving forward knowing their loved one was taken in such a cruel manner?
