I've been thinking a lot about Lissa Kastin and how she'd just begun her life as an adult before it was brutally taken away from her. Being both a dancer and a waitress in North Hollywood, she must have been incredibly hardworking and passionate. It's difficult to imagine the aspirations and dreams she had, only to be cut short by such heinous acts. I read that she was one of the founding members of the LA Knockers, which must have been an incredible creative outlet and a source of camaraderie among those talented women. My heart goes out to her friends and family who had to endure such a senseless loss, and to the other women who were victims during that terrifying time. Does anyone else have any insights or thoughts they'd like to share about how we can honor Lissa and others affected by these tragic events?
