I recently revisited Ashley Dodges' case, and something that's been puzzling me is the total lack of clues regarding her movements before she vanished. I wonder if anyone knows more about her activities the day she went missing—like if she had plans with friends or was headed somewhere specific? It's like she just disappeared into thin air. The fact that she was last seen in flip-flops makes me think she wasn’t planning on going too far that day, which only adds to the mysteriousness. It's hard to imagine how there haven't been any confirmed sightings or leads on such a bubbly teen after all this time. Thoughts on where the investigation could go from here? Maybe there are some avenues that haven't been explored due to lack of resources or focus on older cases? Curious to hear perspectives from others following this case.
Hey everyone,
I came across Ashley Dodges' case and something that's been bugging me is the lack of any significant lead even with all the effort that's been put into finding her. I wonder how effective age-progressed images are in such cases. I've read they sometimes help, but clearly, they haven't led to a breakthrough for Ashley. Do any of you know if there are stats on how often these images actually assist in finding someone? I just wish there were more recent developments in her case. Bishop isn't exactly a huge place, you'd think someone would remember seeing that Tinkerbell sweatshirt if it stood out at all. It’s tough seeing the family still holding on for answers without having any closure. Would love to hear your thoughts on the effectiveness of these images or if you have any ideas on what more could be done.
