Has anyone come across any more information about the nerve gas delivery on the day of Henry Gaw's murder? I'm curious about the choice of timing for Baker's actions. It seems like quite a risky move to pull off a robbery and murder on a day when others would be present for a delivery. Does anyone know if Baker was aware of the schedule, or if this was just a coincidence? Also, the fact that the substance was nerve gas adds another layer of danger to the situation—makes you wonder if there was more to Baker's plan. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on this aspect. It's just terribly sad thinking about Henry being caught in the middle of all this. My heart goes out to his family, who must have grappled with so many unanswered questions over the years.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Henry S. Gaw case and something that's been really puzzling me is the motive behind the murder. From what I've gathered, there was no reported animosity between Gaw and 'Texas Jim' Baker, which makes it all the more perplexing. It’s got to be so difficult for the Gaw family to hear that someone could do something so brutal with seemingly no reason.
Does anyone else find it odd that Baker was carrying around so much poison at his apartment? It’s almost like he was preparing for something bigger, although perhaps it was part of his alleged spree. What do you all think? Could there have been a motive that no one has uncovered, or was Baker just a deeply disturbed individual with no real motive?
My thoughts are with Gaw's family and friends. It must be so hard for them, not only losing their loved one but also dealing with the lack of answers.
Looking forward to discussing this with you all.
Take care,

I've been digging into the details of Henry S. Gaw's tragic case, and something keeps nagging at me—why the cyanide? It's such a specific choice and not an easy thing to come by, even for someone like 'Texas Jim' Baker with his shady connections. Was there something personal or symbolic in the choice of poison?
From everything I've read, cyanide isn't just lying around, especially in the 1920s. To me, it suggests premeditation, but also that Baker had resources or knowledge far beyond the usual. Plus, considering he had enough poison stashed to kill thousands, it just doesn't add up that he'd use it sparingly on just one victim unless Gaw was specifically targeted for a reason we haven't uncovered yet.
I feel so deeply for Gaw's family and friends, left with so many unanswered questions and the misery of losing a loved one to such a monstrous act. It's just all so eerie. I truly hope more information comes to light that can provide some understanding, especially for those who knew him.
