Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Mary Brinker Arden and can't stop thinking about how Archerd's use of insulin as a murder weapon was so diabolically clever yet horrifying. It's terrifying to consider how he exploited his medical knowledge for such evil purposes. What's even more alarming is how long he went undetected, preying on those close to him. Has anyone come across more information about the steps taken to improve forensic methods after this case to catch such crimes earlier? It really makes you wonder about other cases that might have slipped through the cracks back then. My heart goes out to Mary's family and the other victims who unknowingly fell into his trap. How do we make sure folks like Archerd are stopped before they can wreak havoc? Would love to hear thoughts from you all. Stay safe!
