Has anyone else noticed how the rising gun violence in St. Louis seems to be claiming more lives each year? I can't stop thinking about Jermaine Samuel Byrd's case. I've read that it was a targeted attack, but we still know so little about why he was killed. It breaks my heart for his family and all the families out there who have to deal with the pain of not having answers. It makes me wonder about the resources our local law enforcement has and if it's truly enough to tackle the growing number of unsolved cases. I've lived in this area for a long time and have seen firsthand how these tragedies leave a mark on the community. Even after so many years, Jermaine’s memory stands out as a reminder of how important it is for us to keep the conversation going and push for more support in solving these cases. If there is even the tiniest bit of information that someone has, sharing it could bring much-needed answers to his loved ones. I truly hope justice can be served for Jermaine and all the other victims.
