I've been following the Katmai case and I keep thinking about the weather conditions during the sinking. Does anyone know if there were any storm warnings in that area around the time Robert Davis and Carlos Zabala went missing? I've read that the Bering Sea can be incredibly unpredictable, and I'm wondering if bad weather might have contributed to the tragedy. If anyone has details on the weather reports from that day, it might help piece together what happened. My thoughts are with their families during this difficult time.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Katmai case, and something that keeps bugging me is the sheer isolation of where it all happened. I mean, 100 miles west of Adak is about as remote as it gets. Does anyone know if there were any other vessels nearby that could've picked up distress signals or seen anything? It's such a vast area out there, and the weather can be brutal. I'm just wondering how much of a chance there was for any immediate help or if anyone else was even aware at the time. Stay safe and hope for some updates soon. ?⛅️
