It’s hard to fathom the pain felt by the families and friends of the victims from the Grand Prairie shooting. I was particularly struck by the tragic story of Martin Douglas Moran. At just 30 years old, he was one of the six people whose lives were stolen that day. A man in the prime of his life, now gone. It's tragic thinking about the future he was robbed of—maybe he had dreams and plans, personal milestones he hoped to achieve. It's another reminder of how workplace disputes can escalate into unimaginable horrors. Given how unexpected and shocking this rampage was, my heart goes out to all those who knew him. I hope some peace has found its way into their lives since that terrible event.
