Hi everyone,
I've been digging into the details of Scotty Reed's case, and something's been on my mind. I can't shake the thought of how Scotty's tragic death and the surrounding events might have affected other kids in the neighborhood back in 1982. Losing a friend, especially in such a horrific way, must have been incredibly traumatic for the local children.
It's hard to imagine how they coped with the fear and confusion that followed. Were there any efforts in the community to support these kids, like counseling or group meetings? It seems so important to address their emotional well-being during such a dark time.
Has anyone come across information or first-hand accounts from those who were kids in Scotty’s neighborhood back then? Curious to hear your thoughts or if you've seen similar situations where communities came together to support one another after something so tragic.
Sending thoughts to Scotty's family and all those affected.
Take care,
