I’ve been thinking about Officer John R. Pasco's dedication to his duty, especially how he didn't back down from taking on such a dangerous situation. It really shows his courage and commitment to keeping his community safe, even when it meant putting himself in harm's way. Can you imagine the bravery it takes to confront someone armed like that? It’s such a tragedy that his life was cut short this way. For his parents to lose their son must have been unimaginably painful, and I hope the community's remembrance of his sacrifice provides them with some comfort. Does anyone know if there were any memorials or tributes held recently by the Dallas Police Department in his honor?
