I've been reflecting on the Blockbuster murders involving James Armstrong and Brad Lindsey, and one detail sticks out to me: the incredibly fleeting nature of life. Just think about it—James was only 26, and Brad was a mere 20. Both had their lives ahead of them when Leon Dorsey decided that taking a few hundred dollars was worth more than their futures. It got me thinking about how vulnerable we all are in what should be perceived as safe spaces. Working at a rental store seems so mundane and innocuous, yet it became the scene of an unimaginable crime. It's sobering and a reminder of how important it is to cherish every moment. I didn't know James or Brad, but from what I've read, they were both kind souls with so much to offer. I'd love to hear from anyone who might have stories or memories of them. Keeping their spirits alive through our shared thoughts could be one small way of honoring them. Sending my deepest sympathies to their families and friends who have had to live with this terrible loss.
