Reading about Elizabeth Rivera's tragic passing really shook me. I can't stop thinking about how the school band honored her by renaming the band room in her name. It's a touching way to keep her spirit alive, especially since she was part of that community. I imagine it must be both comforting and painful for her classmates to walk past it every day, knowing that she won't be there with them. It's moments like these that remind us of the profound impact one life can have, even one that was much too short. My heart goes out to her family and to all the students and staff who must carry this loss with them.
