I've been thinking a lot about Florence's case recently, and something that stands out to me is how tight-knit the Pecan Valley community is. People come together in times of crisis, and it was clear from the way everyone rallied around Florence’s family during the trial. A friend of mine who lives in the area mentioned they organized candlelight vigils and support meetings to help cope with the grief and confusion following her death. It's inspiring and comforting to see a community show such support, especially when facing something so tragic and senseless. It makes you realize the importance of looking out for each other. While justice has been served, the emotional scars remain. My thoughts are with Florence’s family and friends as they continue to heal from this unimaginable loss. Stay strong, everyone.
