I’ve been following Diego Alfredo Gonzalez-Larios's case for some time now. One aspect that really fascinates me is the possibility that he could be in the U.S. after all these years. Given how territories and borders can blur within certain communities, it’s entirely plausible that he’s grown up not even knowing his real story. With events and tips from both sides of the border possibly converging, I still hold out hope that someone, someday, might recognize him from those age-progressed photos. Has there been anyone with similar features spotted anywhere recently? And do folks think the local communities are being reached effectively with these images? Seems like more outreach could really make a difference.
Hey everyone,
I've been digging deeper into Diego Alfredo Gonzalez-Larios’ case, and something got me thinking. Given how distinct his clothing was at the time of his disappearance—dark blue camouflage pants and a green military jacket—I wonder if there’s a chance anyone out there actually remembers seeing him back then or even after. The thing with such patterned clothing is that it could easily catch someone's attention, especially if he crossed paths with anyone during his journey after the accident. Has anyone looked into whether there were any sightings or even reports of a child wearing similar clothing not long after the incident? We sometimes underestimate how these clothing details could stick in someone's memory, and with the possibility of him being in the U.S. now, maybe someone will recall seeing a kid with that unique getup. Any thoughts?
