Hi everyone,
I was just going through some old obituaries and came across Yolanda Michelle Collins Person's. It's been nearly two decades since her passing, and although there's limited information about what happened, the lack of closure for the family must have been incredibly difficult. Thinking about her parents, Alvin and Priscilla, I can't even imagine how tough it must have been to lose a daughter and not have all the answers.
It's strange how some cases just seem to fade away without any real resolution, leaving so much behind for the families to process. If anyone here was around the Dallas area during that time and remembers anything unusual or noteworthy, even small details, it could be helpful to revisit and see if there's anything more to learn or understand.
Thanks for reading and hope you're all taking care of yourselves.
I recently came across the case of Yolanda Michelle Collins Person while browsing through some obituaries, and it's truly puzzling to me how little information is out there about her passing. It's a reminder of how some deaths, despite being untimely, don't seem to attract the attention they perhaps should. Yolanda passed away at just 35 in Dallas, TX, at her home, yet it seems that there were no official investigations or suspects involved from what I've read.
This raises some questions about the circumstances surrounding her death. Was it a natural cause? An accident? It’s just sad to think that her story might fade without any clarity. Her obituary mentions that her services were held at Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, so she was likely a person of faith with a community around her. My heart goes out to her family, especially her parents, Alvin Collins Jr. and Pricilla Collin-Jones. They must have been devastated by losing her at such a young age.
I hope that they were able to find some peace. If anyone knows more about Yolanda or has any insights, it would be great to hear from you.
