I’ve been thinking a lot about the safety protocols that were in place (or not) for Ebony Nicole Johnson. It's really hard to grasp how things escalated to such a tragic point. I read that some friends and family were aware of the issues between Ebony and Jarvis. I can't help but wonder if more support could have been offered by agencies dedicated to domestic violence prevention in the area. It's crucial for communities to have more resources and awareness campaigns to help individuals in these situations. Ebony had her whole life ahead of her and an 18-month-old child who now has to live without both parents. My heart goes out to her family and the challenging journey they have in front of them. It’s devastating that it takes tragedies like this to emphasize the need for better protective measures.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been diving into the Ebony Nicole Johnson case from Houston and wanted to discuss something that really struck me about the aftermath for their child. I can't even begin to imagine how this little one is coping with not just the loss of both parents but also the circumstances surrounding their deaths. It breaks my heart to think about the long-term impacts this could have throughout their life—emotionally and psychologically.
Does anyone know if there’s been any update on who took custody or if there's a support group or extended family involved? I really hope they’re surrounded by love and getting all the emotional support they may need.
This just serves as a tragic reminder that when such a terrible situation happens, it leaves an indelible mark on more than just the immediate people involved. We should push for more awareness and resources for kids affected by incidents of domestic violence like this.
Sending thoughts to Ebony's family and especially their child.
