I came across an old thread about the Saad/Thompson case from 2004, and it's deeply upsetting to think about the ripple effect this tragedy must have had on their community. It's haunting to realize how much devastation can come from unresolved domestic conflicts. The Saads were active in their community, and Eva, serving as a Eucharist Minister, must have touched so many lives at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. I can't help but think about the people in their community who possibly looked up to her as a role model and now have to grapple with the loss. It's astonishing how quickly life can change, and it’s a reminder of the importance of reaching out to those who might be silently struggling. Thoughts with those who are still healing from this incident, even years later.
