Has anyone else been thinking about the fact that Betty Thompson's granddaughter wasn't at the house that day? I've been following this case closely, and it's just one of those small details that's been on my mind. I can’t imagine what she is going through, knowing she lost her family in such a horrific way. It's truly tragic. I remember reading that she had a close bond with her grandma, Betty. It's heartbreaking that she'll miss out on the wisdom and love Betty surely would have continued to offer. I hope she's surrounded by love and support from the rest of her family and friends. This must be a nightmare for her and for the entire community. If anyone knows of verified ways to support families affected by tragedies like this, especially long-term support, please share. They all need our thoughts and our help now more than ever.
