Has anyone else been deeply moved by the stories people shared about Martha at her memorial service? I've been following this case since the beginning, and hearing those anecdotes about her kindness and dedication to her family was both poignant and enlightening. It’s such a tragedy that her life was cut short in such a violent manner. Her children, in particular, showed incredible strength while speaking about their mother. It’s clear she was the glue that held their family together. With so much focus on the details of the crime, sometimes it’s easy to lose sight of the person at the center of it all. Martha seemed like such a vibrant soul, dedicated not only to her career at BP but also to the people she loved. She didn’t deserve this, and my thoughts are with her family. Here’s hoping that the community can rally around them in this incredibly difficult time. Does anyone else here feel that donations or a fund to support her grandchildren's future education would be an appropriate gesture?
