I’ve been following Jasmine Sharda Whipple’s case, and something that stuck with me was how her kids were so young when all of this happened. I can only imagine the emotional toll on those little ones, being so abruptly separated from both parents. It’s incredible to think about the resilience of children, but at the same time, it’s gut-wrenching to know they grew up without their mom and had to grapple with the trauma of losing her in such a horrific way. They’re placed with relatives now, which I hope brings some sense of stability and love into their lives, but it’s just so sad to think about the questions they might have as they grow older and learn more details. I hope they are surrounded by support and have access to the resources they need to heal.

I can't stop thinking about Jasmine's kids and how difficult this must be for them to process. It's heart-wrenching to think of their young lives being turned upside down like this, losing their mom so suddenly and in such a violent way. I'm glad they're with family, but I hope there's a lot of support for them to navigate through this trauma. Having a parent taken away like that, the person who's supposed to keep you safe, must create such a confusing and painful mix of emotions—especially since it was their father who committed the act. Does anyone know if the community has come together in any way to support these children or if there are funds set up for their future? They deserve every bit of love and care the world can offer right now.
