Hey everyone, I’ve been following the discussions about Dwight "Scully" Ray’s case for a while now, and I wanted to talk a bit about the community’s role in this. It saddens me to think that there are people out there who might have information but haven’t come forward yet. From what I've read, the Highlands area where his body was found isn’t far from where I live, and it's such a tight-knit community. Surely someone must have seen or heard something that could help.
Scully was clearly cherished by those who knew him, and the fact that his murder remains unsolved feels like a disservice to his memory. If you’ve ever been to the vigils held in his honor, you know how much love there is for him still. It’s my hope that renewed discussions and reminders about his case could spark someone’s memory or courage to provide that missing piece of information. Let’s keep sharing anything we hear—even small details could be vital. I genuinely believe that justice is possible, and it could bring some much-needed peace to his family.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Dwight Dell-Kirvin Ray’s case and wanted to bring up something I've been thinking about. It’s really disturbing how cases like Dwight’s and Chaunthina Mills' seem to slip through the cracks. I know continually hearing about unsolved cases can be disheartening, but it feels like there’s still much to be done to reignite interest and awareness.
One angle that’s been on my mind is the possibility that someone out there knows something—maybe even inadvertently. Sometimes, people have information and don’t even realize it could be relevant. If you were in the Dallas area around January 2014, or even know someone who was, it might be worth asking around in case something jogs a memory.
It's so important to keep Dwight’s story alive—not just for his sake but for his family, who deserve answers and peace after such a senseless tragedy. Remembering him as “Scully” and hearing all the love his family and friends have for him makes it clear he was a special guy. His kids and his mom, Vanessa, still deserve to see justice served.
Let’s keep talking about him and Chaunthina and keep the pressure on. Who knows? Maybe this forum or even a small conversation can lead to a breakthrough.
If you have any thoughts or ideas on how we can help raise more awareness, please share.
Stay safe and caring,
