Hey everyone, I was reading up on Jonathan Crews’ case and something caught my attention that hasn't been discussed much. Why was Jonathan's gun found on top of the blanket next to him after he was shot? This detail seems odd. If this was truly a suicide, wouldn't the gun have been beneath or tangled in the blanket? It's also strange considering how precise the shot was—right through the heart. Knowing Jonathan's passion for shooting, you'd think he'd be aware of how to handle a gun in a situation like that. It’s heartbreaking to even think about what his family must be going through. They knew him best and clearly couldn't accept the idea of suicide. It seems like there's so much more under the surface, and this particular detail just isn’t adding up to me. Does anyone else find this odd, or am I overthinking it? Hoping for justice for Jonathan and peace for his family.

Does anyone else find it puzzling how the gun ended up on top of Jonathan's blanket? I've been trying to wrap my head around that detail. If Jonathan had really shot himself, you'd assume the gun would fall differently, maybe ending up beneath the blanket or in a less conspicuous position. Not to mention, bullets and guns have a way of moving unpredictably during such incidents. The way the gun was found seems off to me. It makes you wonder if someone moved it or if there's more to the story of what happened in that apartment. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for Jonathan's family, knowing details like these and still not having closure. My heart goes out to them. Does anyone have thoughts on how the positioning of the gun might play into the investigation?

I've been following Jonathan Crews' case for a while, and I keep coming back to the role of the gun in this whole tragic situation. Jonathan was known to be a competent shooter due to his involvement in competitive shooting. It's puzzling why someone experienced with firearms would make such a decision if Brenda's claim is to be believed. Also, the position of the gun raises more questions than answers. It was found on top of the blankets next to him, which seems odd to me. I can't help but think there’s more to how the gun ended up there. This whole case is just a tangled web, and my heart goes out to Jonathan's family. It must be unbelievably tough not having clear answers even years after his death.
