I was looking more into Diana's case and something just clicked for me. When I saw that Walter Pineda might have fled to El Salvador with Diana, I started wondering if there's a specific community or region there where they might have connections or family. Maybe that's why they've managed to stay off the radar for this long? The fact that they could switch up their last names adds another layer to it. It makes me think they might be using those connections to keep a low profile and blend in, particularly in tight-knit communities that might not question their presence. Does anyone know if investigators have looked into any areas in El Salvador where Walter might have friends or family ties? This would be a huge lead if they've managed to narrow down specific locations. Any thoughts or ideas on this?

It might help narrow down where they could be living if they are indeed staying low-key somewhere. I'm sure her friends and family must be doing everything they can, but maybe there's a lead that could come from checking such local sources?
