I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact David had on his community, especially during his high school years. Anyone else remember how he was practically a legend on the baseball field at Calallen and Moody? I wasn't in the same grade as him, but I remember watching him play and just being in awe. It's hard to believe someone with so much promise and talent is no longer with us. The way his fellow teammates have spoken about him says a lot about his character both on and off the field. It just makes the whole situation even more tragic. His family must be enduring so much pain, and my heart truly goes out to them. If anyone has heard any new updates or news about the investigation, please share. It feels like such an unresolved chapter in the lives of so many who cared about him.
I recently came across the case of David Andrew Hernandez and was reminded of how much a community can rally around a family during such a devastating time. Despite the fact that no arrests have been made, the support from those who knew him seems incredibly strong. I can't help but think about his daughter, Rori, growing up without her dad. She might hear stories about how he was a great baseball player and a loving father, but it breaks my heart that those stories can only be told and not experienced firsthand. We often forget about the ripple effects on people like Rori and David's parents, who are left with unanswered questions. It just seems so unfair that after all these years, there are no solid leads in his case. Wishing peace and justice for David's family and friends.
