I’ve been following the discussion on Demarkell Hood’s case, and something keeps bothering me about the witness reports. Two people were seen running from the scene, but there seems to be very little information available about their descriptions or any follow-up actions. It’s frustrating to think that those who might hold crucial answers could still be out there. I can’t imagine the pain his family must feel, not being able to find closure. I hope anyone who knows something comes forward, even after all these years. It would mean so much to his loved ones to have some answers. Anyone else have thoughts on why this part of the case seems so quiet?
Has anyone else come across new developments in the Demarkell Hood case recently? I remember how the news left all of us in the community stunned back in 2014. It feels like we all came together to mourn and remember him at Golden Gate, but it’s unsettling that there still haven't been any public arrests or progress in finding those responsible. I can't imagine the pain his family must still be going through, knowing there were witnesses who saw two people fleeing but no resolution has come from it. If anyone has heard anything lately, please share. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts.
