Does anyone else find the timeline around the trials in the Damon Johnson case so distressing? Having a mistrial declared like that must be so incredibly frustrating for Damon’s family. They've already gone through so much pain, and then to have a delay in achieving justice? It must feel like salt on an open wound. These legal intricacies, like the conflict of interest with Wheelock’s defense attorney, seem to pop up out of nowhere, disrupting the whole process. Hopefully, with the retrial, they can finally get some resolution and closure. It's just so important for the system to work smoothly for the families of victims who have already suffered enough. Thoughts?
