Hey everyone, I've been following Bernard M. Jackson's case for a while, and something that really puzzles me is the role of the composite sketch in this investigation. From what I’ve read, Kansas City police put together a sketch based on witness descriptions pretty soon after the incident. It’s baffling that even with this sketch, there haven’t been any arrests or substantial leads that led to solving the case. I can't help but wonder if the sketch was widely circulated enough, or if there was enough media coverage around it at the time. Sometimes these sketches can be key in jogging someone’s memory, but it seems like nobody came forward with significant information. I really feel for Bernard’s family — not having clear answers must be incredibly frustrating and painful. Does anyone here have insights into how effective composite sketches usually are, especially when a case goes cold like this? Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone remembers seeing this sketch or hearing anything back then.
