I've been thinking a lot about the close ties in the Killeen community and how Christina Yvette McDaniel’s friends and neighbors must be coping. It’s unimaginable to think how quickly life changed for them after January 17, 2015. While the investigation pretty much closed with Aguilar’s suicide, it just feels like there's so much left unsaid. The emotional scars left behind after such violence are just unfathomable. It makes you wonder about the importance of having support systems in place for friends and families dealing with these tragic events. Does anyone know if there were counseling services or community gatherings to help those affected by Christina's passing? I really feel for her family, especially her young sons.
