Does anyone else find it frustrating how little media coverage Lemuel Wilson's case received back in 2012? It seems like Oakland was in crisis mode with the spike in homicides, but that shouldn't mean individuals like Lemuel go unnoticed. It's unsettling to think about how his family might still be searching for answers, almost overshadowed by the sheer number of similar tragedies happening at the time. The lack of resources and understaffed police force surely played a role, but it feels like we, as a community, should do more to bring attention to these cases. Every victim deserves to be remembered, and their families deserve justice. Anyone have thoughts on how we can keep the conversation going for cases like Lemuel's?
