Did anyone else catch the interview with the 80-year-old man who was inside the house during the standoff? I'm so relieved he wasn't physically harmed, but I can't even begin to imagine the emotional trauma he's dealing with. Standing there amidst such chaos and heartbreak, and then losing both Allysson and Anel, must be overwhelming. It's heartening to see the community come together with the fundraiser and all, but I do hope he's receiving some support too. Does anyone know if there are local services stepping in to help with his emotional recovery? The human spirit can be so strong, but no one should have to face something like this alone.
