It's devastating to think about how quickly things escalated that day for Domanic. I'm sitting here trying to imagine what he must have felt in those final moments, being so young and with so much life ahead of him. It's a harsh reminder of how dangerous getting involved in drug deals can be, no matter the intentions. The fact that Justin Love, Brooks, and O’Brien each had different roles but were all part of the same tragic outcome speaks volumes about how quickly bad decisions can spiral out of control and change lives forever. I'm glad that the judicial system is holding the perpetrators accountable. I'm especially struck by the bravery Whitney O’Brien showed by testifying—it's rarely easy to stand up and speak out, especially in these kinds of cases. This whole situation has brought to light the real dangers of organized criminal activity and the importance of bringing violent offenders to justice. My heart truly goes out to Domanic's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. They deserve peace and closure, though I know that’s easier said than done.
